Guide to Early Voting in
Georgia’s 10th District
We’re going to try to answer any question you might have about when, where, and how to vote in advance of the May 19 Primary election anywhere in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District. Shoot an email to campaign@lexydoherty.com if you have any questions we haven’t answered!
Lexy Doherty is running to represent Georgia’s 10th Congressional District. Lexy is running because she believes our government can be functional, productive, and forward-thinking. She’s ready to join a new generation of representatives who will put extreme partisanship aside and build a country that lives up to our values of justice and opportunity for all people.
Where is Georgia’s 10th Congressional District?
Georgia’s maps were redrawn again in 2023, and the 10th District now includes all of Barrow, Butts, Clarke, Elbert, Franklin, Greene, Hancock, Hart, Jasper, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Putnam, Taliaferro, and Walton Counties - and part of Gwinnett, Henry, Newton, and Wilkes Counties.
How Do I Vote by Mail?
Absentee applications can be downloaded from the Secretary of State’s website: click here
Instead of emailing the printed application to your county, you can instead upload a photo of it and other required documents on the Secretary of State’s website: click here. The application portal allows you to verify your driver’s license number on your voter registration record.
Friday, May 8, 2026 is the last day you can request an absentee ballot for the November 5th General Election. Again, mail is currently moving very slowly, so we urge you to send in your absentee applications as early as possible to ensure you receive your ballot in time. Absentee ballots must be received by your County Registrar’s Office before polls close on election day (May 19) in order for your vote to be counted.
